The successful candidate will use judgement and experience to allocate resources and maximize client outcomes. They will bring the best of PLATFORM to existing clients and leverage their professional network to expand PLATFORM’s Cyber, D&O and M&A business. We are looking for an ambitious professional who wants to join an exciting, fast paced environment with a strong learning culture and a focus on overall development.

·      Build and lead our Cyber, D&O, Professional Liability & M&A expansion by meeting with clients, prospects, colleagues, and/or key stakeholders across Canada.

·      Create a well-rounded service proposition for clients, while maintaining powerful insurer connections, and enhancing sales and cross-selling for Cyber/D&O/Professional Liability/M&A products.

·      Support our account teams on our largest and most complex files/opportunities as PLATFORM’s technical resource.  

·      Use effective negotiation skills and proactive servicing to improve broking results for clients.

·      Day-to-day be a subject matter expert to colleagues/clients and ensure all client deliverables are accurate and professional.

·      Must have the ability to present confidently in all elements of client facing interactions, including presentations, speaking events, and to C-Suite level executives.

·      Be a spokesperson for PLATFORM in all interactions.

·      Minimum 10+ years of industry-related experience, specifically in Cyber/D&O/Professional Liability/M&A

·      Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, Risk Management, or related field of study

·      Candidates with RLPU or another advanced D&O/Cyber education achievements preferred.

·      Passion for delivering client-focused solutions that build long-lasting relationships.  

·      Desire to lead, mentor and create meaningful collaborative relationships with internal colleagues, teams, and leaders.
