How you will be Successful
· Support the finance team in daily functions including premium payable reconciliations, bank deposits, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, account reconciliations, and ad hoc requests
· Coordinate, process and record client deposits
· Process and record payments to vendors in a timely manner
· Process and record reimbursements to employees
· Support in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. · Support in the preparation of monthly retail sales tax filings
· Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures and banking activity.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance/Accounting, or Bookkeeping
· Professional Accounting designation preferred, or working towards (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA)
· 2+ years of experience of accounting experience within the Insurance industry an asset
· Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)
· Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
